The use of high-quality raw materials creates a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to process. Using a state-of-the-art manufacturing process, very low manufacturing tolerances are achieved, which leads to convincing printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each coil is sealed in a high-quality bag.
- Made in Switzerland
- small diameter and roundness tolerances
- easy to print
TPU is an elastic material with very good wear resistance coupled with high resilience.
TPU is very abrasion-resistant and has good resistance to oils and greases and is therefore often used in hydraulics and pneumatics. TPU has very good tensile properties.
TPU is perfect for FDM 3D printing due to its rather small shrinkage and excellent adhesion properties. TPU can even be printed on a cold printing plate without significant warping. The material also adheres very well to other plastics, which is why it can be processed well in dual 3D printing.
With this thermoplastic elastomer too, the lower the filling, the more elastic the printed component remains. The same applies to the wall thickness. The thinner the more elastic. The TPU has a shore hardness of 53D.
Characteristics:
- Shore hardness of 53D
- Excellent abrasion resistance
- High elasticity
- High tensile and tear strength
- Oil resistance
- Outstanding low-temperature properties
- TPU can be used in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +80°C
